GGC was founded by Georgetown University students in 2013 with the goal of bridging academic insights with the international development field through consulting projects.

As the organization has evolved, we have expanded our focus beyond working with micro-finance institutions (MFIs) to encompass the broader field of international development. This allows us to integrate diverse resources from across the international development sector and academia to provide innovative solutions to our clients.
