Frequently Asked Questions:

Who Can Apply?

While we primarily accept applications from freshmen and sophomores, all classes are welcome to apply!

Do I need previous consulting or business experience?

We do not expect candidates to have previous experience in or knowledge of either consulting or international development. However, we look for business acumen, curiosity, and an interest in international development during the application process.

What does the application process entail?

At the beginning of each semester we host an information session for all interested candidates. Attendance is not mandatory, but highly encouraged. It is unsurprising that successful applicants during interviews tend to have gone to our information session and spoken to current GGC members, which offers them insight into what our work consists of.

The application process is three-part. The first is a series of written questions, answered through an online form. An applicant’s answers are reviewed name-blind. The second is an in-person interview that will test candidates' interest-level, skills and experiences. There will be two rounds of interviews, the first being behavioral and the second including both behavioral questions and a development consulting case.
